Troop 623 helped feed some people at the Clara White Mission. Please look at the pics and see how our Scouts give back to the those in need.

Troop 623 recently held a combination Eagle Cermony and Court of Honor. I am pleased to announce that Will Kapcio has achieved the rank of Eagle. Please enjoy the pictures
01/16/09 Troop 623 will be holding an Eagle Ceremony and a Court of Honor on 31 Jan 2009 at 6p.m. at Isle of Faith United Methodist Church. We have the unique oppertunity to hold both at the same time. We will recognize Will Kapcio for making the rank of Eagle Scout and at the same time we will recoginize the other Scouts who have achieved ranks and Merit Badges. Please come out and share in this with us.
01/16/09 Troop 623 is proud to announce that we had 3 new members voted into O.A. last night at the meeting. We had the Saturiwa Chapter Chief Justin and his Secretary Alex come and conduct the elections. Our newest members are Les Walton, John W. and Malaki H. They will become full members after they complete their ordeal at the Spring Fellowship. Congratulate them on their being elected. Many new great adventures await them.

10/17/08- The updated troop phone tree is now online. Please visit the Phone Tree page and login to access the new phone tree.
10/17/08- The login system for the website is being updated. If you are a new scout, please contact Cole Walters in order to obtain your username and password in order to view restricted access pages such as the Phone Tree and the O.A. Members Area. Also, if you feel you should have access to a particular page, but do not have clearance, or your username and password do not grant you access to restricted pages, please contact Cole Walters.
10/17/08- All email links on the website have been updated to reflect the new troop email address. If you find a hanging or broken link or have any other problems, please email Scoutmaster623@gmail.com.
10/12/08- The website is undergoing some changes. The troop email address has changed, and as a result, all email links on the website are broken. The new email address for the troop is Scoutmaster623@gmail.com.
07/16/2008 Background checks will now be conducted on all new adult leaders. All adults that have been in the troop since 2003 and have not changed positions will have to complete a new application and submit a new adult leader application when the troop recharters. 03/27/08- ATTENTION ALL NEW SCOUTS: Please fill out the online contact information form ASAP so that the troop can have your most current information & so you can be put on the mailing list.
02/24/08- A new feature has been added to the Echockottee Lodge website. Entitled "Where to Go Camping", it is a guide of national parks, forests, and wilderness areas in Florida and southern Georgia. This program uses Google Earth and Mapping software. Click on any of the icons for more information.
6/22/07- Any scouts wishing to share their experiences from any troop event are encouraged to write a brief summary of the activity or trip which will be posted online with the accompanying trip photos. Recognition and credit will be given for participation. Trip reports can be e-mailed to the troop, or can be submitted to Scoutmaster Welch. Please see Scoutmaster Welch for more details.
